Boy Scouts of America - Senior Web Developer (AEM)

Primary Responsibilities:

Responsible for web- and mobile-based development using client/server programming and HTML5/CSS3.
Designs, develops and implements solutions using AEM. 
Work on cross-discipline Agile team to develop, test, improve and maintain websites. 
Work directly with internal and external stakeholders to understand requirements and communicate progress. 
Update and maintain site documentation. 
Communicate effectively with all stakeholders and promote a strong sense of teamwork.
Prepare accurate time and cost estimates for proposed and in-process projects.

 

Qualifications/ Experience: 

Bachelor’s degree in computer science or relevant professional experience
5+ years of relevant working experience
3+ years’ experience in development of Java Server Pages and related technologies 
Experience in: 

HTML5, DHTML
CSS3 
JavaScript

Experience with modern front-end frameworks and libraries: 

Angular
Bootstrap
Dojo
jQuery

Knowledge of Java IDEs and source control management, ideally using GIT
Strong adherence to a consistent delivery methodology and associated deliverable generation
Experience with Object-Oriented Programming Methodology & Practice, ideally with designing and programming of applications using Object Oriented Programming Methodology utilizing Java language constructs
Advanced Technical Skills in the following areas: 

AEM 5.6 and above 
Java / J2EE
Angular or any other JS Framework 
Web services (SOAP and REST) 
HTML/CSS/Ajax 
HTTP Protocol 
Server Configuration (Webserver and Application)

Knowledge of Application Frameworks i.e. Spring, OSGI, Sling
Experience with Agile and scrum a plus
Experience in SQL preferred
